BEMS oldest living LIFE member Catherine Myers passed away peacefully this morning in Seaview NJ. “Kitty” as we all knew her by lived to be almost 103. Kitty served with her husband Charlie in our organizations early years. Kitty was loved by all who knew her. She was a gentle sweet lady who was kind to all. May she rest in peace and her memory to all who knew her be a blessing.

The CARES Act adds a new tax deduction available in 2020 and future years. It allows for a $300 deduction per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple) for charitable gifts on their federal income tax returns. Charitable gifts can be made to ambulance and EMS agencies that are either non-profit organizations or public agencies consistent with IRS rules.
