BEMS is proud to announce a new partnership with Congreso de Latino Unidos in EMS education for their Workforce Program. Burholme EMS Training Institute is now providing EMT Training and education to Congreso clients who chose to pursue a career pathway in pre-hospital care. In October 2023 BEMS entered a collaborative agreement with VMSC of Lansdale for Communication Services through their state of the art comm center located in North Penn. This relationship grew in the later part of November 2023 with the housing of the VMSC IFT unit servicing center city Philadelphia out of BEMS Main station. This past month seven members of our BEMS staff completed Autism Awareness Training through a grant from the American Trauma Society/ PA Division . This training and grant allows the organization to receive equipment and support for care on the ambulance provided to any member of the community with Autism or Sensory Disorder issues.
